Andrew ran “Different Hats” for 7 years, providing advice and support to startups and small enterprises in creative industries, tech, social enterprise and charity.
The name was coined as a reference to Andrew as ‘the wearer of many hats,’ and it’s a term that fits his diverse experience.
Often clients would need help with managing and developing people, building company culture and leadership coaching. Then lots of operational aspects including financial management and planning, organisational structure, hiring (and very occasionally firing) and performance management.
And then the very important focus around really understanding a business or organisation; vision & mission, business strategies and theory of change.
