Building resilient businesses – managing the effects of COVID-19

We’re adapting the ‘Grow Your Business’ programme to the needs of small businesses in east London during this challenging period. Our ‘Building Resilient Businesses’ programme is all about managing the effects of COVID-19 on your business. This is a 1 month intensive series of expert sessions designed for those suffering from COVID related loss of trade. As usual, we’re focusing on businesses that are operating in, or creating opportunities in east London.

What will the programme cover?

A number of workshops (approximately two per week) will be delivered virtually, covering areas of business such as HR, Legals, Finance and Strategy. These will be tailored to focus on challenges faced by small businesses during the COVID19 pandemic. We’ll walk you through mitigating risk, accessing COVID-related grants & support, furloughed staff, cashflow issues and ensuring your business can still be found online – and of course lots more! The programme will cover a number of topics to help not only those struggling to keep their business afloat but those with specific problems they need to understand and navigate around.

Who are we looking for?

Anyone running a business locally in that has been affected by COVID-19

Open to all types of businesses; though with a primary focus on hospitality & retail businesses - however, you could be running a market stall, a local garage or photography business!
