If your organisation is based in Cambridge, Huntingdonshire, or South Cambridgeshire you can access a grant of up to £5000 – designed to support various initiatives that can significantly reduce your energy costs and carbon footprint and help you become more sustainable.
What can the grant be spent on?
- Building Fabric Improvements: Insulation to improve energy efficiency.
- Energy Management Systems: Systems to better monitor and manage energy use.
- Renewable Energy Technology: Solar photovoltaic panels or other renewable energy sources.
- Heat Pumps: Heat pumps to reduce reliance on traditional heating methods.
- Low Energy Lighting: Upgrade to LED or other low-energy lighting solutions.
- Heating/Cooling Efficiency: Optimize the efficiency of existing heating and cooling systems.
- Water and Energy Efficiency Measures: Save water and reduce energy consumption.
- Resource Efficiency Measures: Implement practices to use resources more effectively and reduce waste.
- Sustainable Transport Measures: Electric vehicles, charging points, or electric bicycles to minimize dependence on petrol or diesel vehicles.
