hosted by Agri-Tech East held at

Agrii, Throws Farm Technology Centre, Stebbing, CM6 3AQ

GROW is the UK’s only Agri-Tech Business Plan Competition, and is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurial thinking into the industry.

Entrepreneurs and innovators from across the UK are encouraged to submit a 12-page business plan describing an innovative new technology, product or service that will help improve the efficiency, productivity or sustainability of agriculture and horticulture.

The objective of GROW is to encourage innovative, investable commercial concepts that will have the potential to become new businesses. All those that register an expression of interest will benefit from the support of an experienced mentor to help them to develop the business plan.

With business support, rent-free accommodation and access to expert help to make the plans a commercial reality, the competition is designed to encourage and support the leaders of the agri-tech businesses of the future.

In addition to a cash prize, the finalists will be able to select further business support from a menu of options designed to help accelerate their businesses.

Who should attend:

  • Farmers – to find out the new ideas in the pipeline and give advice and industry insights to make sure they tackle YOUR needs
  • Innovators – to talk to industry experts about the needs of the industry, possible routes to market for your ideas, and where the challenges are facing the industry
  • Investors – all good ideas need funding! Find potential future deal flow by meeting the agri-entrepreneurs of the future
