Our speakers for the evening are:
Tara Kelly, child and family centre worker:
Suffered a panic attack in her teens which left her constantly fearful, negative and depressed. She had a revelation of ‘coping with what you can’t control’, which led to her successfully managing her challenges.
Neil Prem, father, pastor and social entrepreneur:
Lost five members of his family in less than a year and his grief turned into depression. His health deteriorated to the point where he had a stroke. Feeling lost, abandoned and rejected, he wrote a letter which set him free.
Daniel Marcus Callaghan, social media expert:
Experienced his first episode of depression aged 13, which led to him trying to take his own like aged 17. He was diagnosed clinically depressed at aged 22, and then found a way to find freedom from depression, graduate from university and become a renowned mental health ambassador and speaker.
