Allia commissions a piece of public art for Future Business Centre

Allia Ltd is working with Acuity Arts to commission an artist/s to create a piece/s of public art in or around their new Future Business Centre in Cambridge.  The commission is intended to reflect the organisation’s focus on social and environmental start-ups, as well as its commitment to being part of the communities it serves.

To reflect this there are three separate strands of activity within the Commission:

1. A collection of 2D and/or installation work which can be on public display within the Centre and which responds to environmental themes around nature and sustainability.

2. A piece of work that creatively reflects the notion of a ‘wall of support’ – acknowledging both the support the Centre has received from the local community, business community and a large number of individuals as well as illustrating the support the Centre offers its users and community neighbours.

3. Live or public installation artwork(s) that are designed to respond, connect and engage with the community.

We are seeking an Artist /Artists with experience in Public Art and community engagement that can respond to one or multiple strands of the commission.
For a detailed artist brief please get in touch below or sign up on Acuity Arts website.

Deadline for submissions is midnight 12th April 2015
